The Delhi Government has issued a notification stating that October 14th has been declared a holiday in the NCR region due to the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games for shops and establishments. Please find the attached notification.

The Commercial Establishment can open the shops by paying double the wages. Get the consent of the employees in writing. Inform the Labour Inspector.

Kindly note that the notification regarding the holiday on 14th October pertains only to GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS AND PSUs. We should not confuse people by associating the same with Private Sectors, Establishments, or Companies.
