I have heard about Behavior-Based Safety and would like to learn more about it. Does anyone have good experience with the implementation of BBS in an organization? I am requesting you to share your experiences.

Thanks,

As we know, the accident rate is very high in anxious and neurotic individuals compared to normal and relaxed persons. They are also known as accident-prone individuals. The aim of behavior-based safety training is to identify accident-prone, anxious, and individuals with personality problems.

BBS programs require teamwork comprising HR, a behavioral trainer, and a trained and qualified occupational or clinical psychologist. Psychologists help understand problems and behaviors by conducting appropriate tools such as admin stress audits, LES, and psychological wellness history for compiling psychological profiles of each employee and staff. Then, they provide proper opportunities to share and discuss problems, adopting a client-centered approach to develop their insights through techniques like Socratic questioning. BBS programs not only help in adopting safe behaviors but also motivate employees to work hard, remain focused, and happy.
