Hello ,
I am really worried about my career.
I have applied and got through one of the companies(Capgemini ) in Bangalore and i was unable to join them at the given date as i had some family mishap and was not able to inform the HR . When I tried to inform the HR i saw they sent me an email revoking my offer . Post which whn I spoke to the HR she said that I might be blacklisted as well.
Does this mean , I would not be able able to join with any other company ? Please let me know .
Thanks

Hi
The concept blacklisting will comes in to play due to employee in subordination (Absconding, un ethical practice at work, misbehavior, performance issue etc..). here in your case you are not an employee of capegemini so i feel you need not worried about these threaten.for the sake of threatening you the HR was talk to you in such manner.but some HR person start using this concept of blacklisting as a weapon take a revenge.go through the below link that gives you more idea.

Hello Madhan,
I am a software consultant with a reputed firm, but recently I came to know that my candidature has been blacklisted in one of top consulting firm when my CV was forwarded to concerned HR through a my friend. The HR declined to arrange the interview for blacklisted reason.
Neither I have never joined that consulting firm nor I have accepted / rejected any offer before. The HR is not willing to reveal the reason of blacklisting.
What I am suppose to do at this stage, I want to know the reason as well as to remove the stigma of blacklisted for that firm.
Please help.
