Hi,

While the Factories Act of 1948 specifies the minimum limit on weekly offs for workers, I would like to know if there is a maximum limit for weekly offs to be given in a week. Is there a maximum limit?

Regards,
Mahesh

Well, as you have already gone through the Factory Act of 1948 regarding weekly offs and other details, but it seems you may have forgotten to read about the minimum and maximum working hours/days for a week/month/year.

Secondly, are you prepared to offer the maximum weekly offs to your employees as per the present rules of the act? Can you manage it, or what exactly are you looking for? Please be specific and share more.

Dear All Seniors,

I have a doubt regarding the PF Monthly Challan. As per the new rules, I generated the Challan for the month of April on May 14th, but I have not yet submitted it to the banks. According to the PF rules, the Challan can lapse after 15 days. Since my Challan generation date has exceeded 15 days, how can I generate another Challan? Please guide me on this issue.
