I want to know the process of establishing a factory in the MIDC area and in a village area. I also want to know all the legal formalities before starting any textile factory where 1,000 or more workers will be working for 12 months.

Dear Sarang,
You need to do the following:
1. MIDC Area
- Agreement with MIDC
- Registration of Factory
- Necessary approvals like Plan Layout, Stability Certificate, various documentation with authorities such as Factory Inspector, MPCB, and other required government offices and authorities.
2. Factory in Village
- NOC from Grampanchayat
- Approval from the above government authorities.
- Approval from Town Planning
- Approval from Irrigation department
If the land is taken for industrial purposes, you need to obtain an NA order from the Tahsildar.
