Exploring Marketing Opportunities for Females in UAE: Insights and Strategies - CiteHR

I am in India currently, based in Ghaziabad. I am looking for job opportunities in Dubai aggressively. I have been posting my CV (4 years of experience in Marketing) to all companies that have been posting requirements on job sites such as Naukri, Monster, Bayt, etc. But I need to know if there is something more I should do. Is it possible to get a job from India itself, or do I have to go to the UAE to get a job? I don't have any relatives in Dubai that I could stay with, so it's not possible for me to go to Dubai and stay there for 15-20 days to find a job. Therefore, any suggestions would be highly useful and welcome.

What I Need to Know

1. Ways to find a suitable job in Dubai/UAE in Marketing from India itself.
2. Is it safe for single women to work in Dubai as a Hindu Indian?

Thank you.

Regards.

Dear Richa,

Exploring Overseas Recruitment Options

You have to check with local companies in Delhi that deal with overseas recruitments. There are several companies that handle overseas recruitment, and most of them are based in Mumbai or Delhi. This is the most productive way to secure employment in the UAE while being present in India. Many companies are connected with these recruitment firms for their manpower needs.

Considerations for Visiting the UAE

People do take the route of coming to the UAE on a visit visa and trying to find a job opportunity. However, the results are not guaranteed, and it is not advisable. Not having any relatives in the UAE will certainly complicate things and create uncertainty. Legally, you are not supposed to do this. It is not the correct method to search for a job. You should visit the UAE as a tourist for tourism purposes, to meet relatives, or for business trips. These are the three main categories of visits. If you are single and unmarried, you cannot come to the UAE on a visit without a blood relative to sponsor you.

Working in the UAE as a Single Woman

I know several single women who are working on employment contracts, and they are Hindu as well. I haven't encountered any discrimination based on religion, nationality, or culture. The UAE is a place where people from 160 countries coexist in a multicultural environment, so please maintain a positive outlook on this point.

Note: All the information above is based on my personal knowledge of the UAE and its expatriate working class. Please do not solely rely on this information. It does not have any legal standing or conform to any labor law regulations.

Just some information for you to consider!

Have a good day.
