If your establishment is covered under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, then see which of the chapters, i.e., VA or VB on Layoff & Retrenchment, is applicable. Then, go through the applicable Industrial Disputes Rules to understand the procedure and different applicable formats for effecting the retrenchment.

Under the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947, if an employee's service period is 15 years, are they entitled to workman compensation?
