Hi Ashish,

Date of Resignation is the date when an Associate resigns. On the basis of their resignation acceptance by their manager, the last working day is finalized and communicated to the HR operation team, which is referred to as the date of leaving.

I hope this answers your question!

Hi,

The date of resignation is the date when you submit your resignation. The date of leaving will be your last working day with the company. This date could be extended or reduced based on your roles and responsibilities.

The date on which an employee submits his/her formal resignation is the 'Date of Resignation'.

After the submission of resignation, the employee remains in the services of the organization until he is formally relieved. The last date of working in an organization will be the 'Leaving Date' or 'Relieving Date', which will be mentioned in the service certificate.

Date of resignation generally specifies the day when you have submitted your resignation letter. However, after submitting your letter, you have to serve a notice period (mandatory in most cases). On completion of your notice period, the last working day is considered as your date of leaving.
