Hi, what is the status of a contract worker in respect of National Holidays and public holidays. Do they qualify for payment.

Dear,
First, decide under which of the enactments we are to grant national and public holidays, and then see in that Act whether the Contractor's establishment is also covered for the grant of these holidays. In my opinion, both national and festival holidays are provided for under the State Acts.
