Hi,

I want to withdraw my PF amount from my previous company. Can I get the PF amount without the previous company's intimation, directly from the PF office? If yes, can you please tell me what the process for that is?

Dear Friend,

Your PF withdrawal should be signed by the authorized signatory of your previous company. Therefore, you can't receive the PF amount without obtaining the signature from your previous company. This is according to my knowledge.

It is always better if you get your PF withdrawal form signed by the authorized signatory of the previous employer. However, if you cannot do so, you can still withdraw your form by getting it attested by the authorized government officials. But in that case, you have to be sure about the following:

1. Your date of leaving the last organization.
2. You/the company have submitted Form 3A stating your contribution for the current year.
3. Correct PF number.

If you can provide the same, then you can withdraw your PF amount. However, you can only apply for the withdrawal after 2 months from the date of resignation.

Thanks,
Aditya
