Both of these Acts are State Acts. Decide which of the Acts is applicable in your case and then refer to the provisions for National & Festival Holidays.

Dear Respected R.N. Khola Sir, In Gujarat, under which Act are factories required to provide 8 days of mandatory paid holidays in a calendar year? Out of these 8 days, 3 are national holidays - 26th January, 15th August, and 2nd October. Could you please provide guidance on this matter? Thank you.
