Please refer to the Industrial Employment (National & Festival Holidays) Act for information on paid holidays. According to this act, four national holidays, i.e., 26th Jan, 1st May, 15th Aug, and 2nd Oct, as well as five other holidays, are mandatory to be provided to the employees.
