I wanted to know if the minimum wages revised from 01.02.2010 are related to D.A. or something else. This is because in the Order no. F.12(142)/02/MW/Lab/5573, it is mentioned as minimum wages in English but in Hindi, it is referred to as Mehangai bhatta. Additionally, in previous years, it was displayed on a monthly basis, whereas now it is on a daily basis. Could you please clarify this for me?

Government offices follow the practice, for example, they repeatedly provide the footnote as 'NB. Case of tampering with the order have come to our notice. Employers/workers may confirm from the website of the Labour Department labour.delhigovt.nic.in'.

In my opinion, this site is reliable as they also take information from the respective State governments. At times, this may happen that they are not in a position to provide us with the latest minimum rates of wages due to the unavailability of information from the concerning authorities. When a specific period is provided in the information on these rates, then we can utilize these minimum rates of wages without any hesitation. Why would they provide us with wrong information?
