Unless you are clear about the aims and objectives of the survey and the type of participants - employees of different statuses, vendors, customers, or members of the public - you may find yourself wandering aimlessly in the dark without success in your mission. In that case, nobody would be able to help you solely on a hypothetical basis.
Furthermore, considering you are new to the company, it is unlikely that you have been authorized to conduct a survey independently or on behalf of the company.
Therefore, take the time to carefully think about the problem, clearly specify it in detail with the aims and objectives of your survey.
