Hi Joan,
Lots of institutes are offering MBA, but only a few are given due weightage by the industry. Some of the names are IGNOU, Symbiosis, and ICFAI. You may visit the respective sites to know more. Also, please understand that you need to be working to get admission to the above institutes.

Hi Joan,
These days, most institutes offer correspondence/distance learning courses. Institutes like IGNOU, Symbiosis, ICFAI, AIMA offer correspondence courses. The fees might be around Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 30,000 for the entire course apart from the exam fees. Generally, admissions start by March/April.
But my sincere suggestion to you would be to consider opting for evening classes where there is some form of class interaction instead of choosing correspondence. A correspondence course may not add much value. It is very important that you have classroom sessions where there are lots of guest lectures happening and various ideas flowing through interactions between students.

Sunaina

Hi Joan,
Regarding your query about distance learning courses, you can check out this site: http://www.indianmba.com/Distance_Ed...ducation1.html. Apart from this, you can also consider IMT Ghaziabad for Distance Learning MBA because they offer classes every weekend. You can check out the center near your place. One more suggestion: if you plan to pursue a part-time or correspondence MBA, always consider taking up a job.
All the best.

Hi,
Just have a look into this opportunity also.
Let me introduce myself. I am Naresh, presently associated with Husys Consulting (www.husys.net). It's great to inform you all that Husys Consulting is launching a one-year Human Resource Function Management program.
Yes, I do agree that an MBA from a top university is everyone's dream. But I definitely know you all understand the efforts and pain required to get through the entrances and final admission. At the end of 2 years, you may get a placement depending on your ability. The question is, are so many efforts necessary for all of this?
I believe it's like keeping 3-4 years of effort to get the placement. So, why not look for something that's really worthwhile, like the one full-time HR Management program run by Husys Consulting (www.husys.net), which offers a unique program for graduates/people from the BPO/CALL Center industry to take up a one-year full-time Human Resource Management Program.
Here are some highlights of the program I came across:
- Experimental and Experiential Knowledge Sharing from Industry Experienced Professionals
- Mentorship by Practicing HR Professionals
- 4 months of intensive Training by Industry Professionals
- On-The-Job Deployment for 8 months
- Stipend during Deployment (Based on Company Norms)
- Work Exposure to ERP (SAP, ORACLE APPS, Peoplesoft, and other Related ERPs) by Industry Experts
- Free Lunch and Snacks while at Husys Campus
- Free Assistance in getting accommodation in Hyderabad from Husys
I am sure this information will help you more in terms of deciding and assisting your friends/relatives in choosing the right career path, whether to take up a program like this or wait 3-4 years to get placed.
Why wait? Call 9948078936 / 040-65195632 and get to know the details.

Hi,
I have completed my MCA through regular studies over the last three years. I have gained diverse work experience during this time. One role I had was as a Sales Research Analyst, where I worked on international leads in a US-based company. Currently, I am working in an Indian company in a position where I provide assistance as a bridge between clients, the sales team, and the product development team. My responsibilities include managing and resolving all their issues. This role does not involve software coding or testing; it is essentially a semi-technical profile.
I have recently enrolled in a 3-year correspondence MBA program at Amity University, Noida. I am seeking guidance on how my current education and work experience align and what opportunities may be available to me in the future. I am particularly interested in knowing if obtaining an MBA degree, after three years, will help me advance my career in the areas of Business Management, sales, marketing, or managerial roles.
Friends, please guide me.

Vikas
