first of all get the attendance register & the list of duty timings of an employee for ex A employess has 9-6 job & you have to make his may month salary, now chck the attendance register is he coming on 9 am & going at 6 pm daily if there is a half day mark half day, if its a leave mark leave, now as per your companuy leave police (if 1 leave is allowed in 1 month) give them the the leave & pay days salary if there is no half day or only 1 leave,
Also do follow late coming policy
you can also check employee atendance by matching gate register wih reception attendance register

Hi,
First of all you need to let me know if you are processing payroll with the help of some software(SAP) or mannual.
The basic requirement of payroll is 100% accuracy in attendance calculation. The entire payroll is based on it for both of the cases automated and mannual.

Hi Pooja,
I think what Avaika has mentioned is right .Whoever was handling salary first in your organization it is better that you cinsider the same with him / her and only then prepare the pay roll.
and first of all if you were been told to do only recruitments then why are they asking you to preapre the payroll????
With regards,
