Document and Record Requirements for Compliance

I would be thankful if the learned people here can guide me on what documents, records, and registers are required to follow all compliances such as ESI, PF, Labor Laws, and any other similar regulations.

How to Maintain Compliance Documents

Also, please guide me on how to maintain them. That is, how to fill out registers like the wage register, bonus register, etc., and their formats and templates, if any. For example, from the payroll sheet to the appointment letter to FnF letter formats and templates, and other forms if applicable, since I do not know all these details.

Duration and Format for Maintaining Documents

Additionally, for how long should we maintain these documents? For instance, PF payment slips, ESI payment slips, salary sheets, and other documents. Can we maintain all compliance documents in a digital format, or should there be hard copy versions of them?

I appreciate the help. Thank you.
