Dear,
Deepa
Previously i was thinking like you only but recruitment is the main function of HR. I was thinking to getting a good job in starting of carrer is difficult but its nothing like that because this statement is truly right where there is will there is a way.
What you are doing you are hiding your weakness recruiting a people is the hardest part of HR job.
I am telling you my case.
I have got job in a constrution company before 3 months back i have completed my MBA in march 08 i was too frustated becoz i was nt getting gud profile and as well as nt gud package but i was constantly searching a job.
Today i got job in a construction company as an Asst HR manager company size is 350 employee.
I am the only person who is working in HR dpartment.
Here i am responsible for all the HR related activites means calling, scheduling taking interviews, salary processing and also all the small and big issue is handling by me only and my package is also gud.
Might be u can think why i am telling you all this thing bcoz i wanted to go in a MNC but i did compromise bcoz in the startup of your carrer you to compromise somewhere .

So be ready and what ever is coming in your way make it excellent and have pataince.
Have a nice future!
Regards,
Khusi

Dear Deepa,
Sittle idle looking for an ideal job will do not good to you. Please start with something even though that covers only a part of your dream job. Many times its not easy to find the job exactly that suits our interest. Please start with something and then try to switch over while you are in the job. Leaving a job and then looking for a new one will not work out often. Try to get into somewhere and they try for swithching over.
All the best...

HI
Youcan get into core HR but many companiesprefer expereinced for core activites. It is better you in recruitment and search for core HR job because if you are idle without job thinking that you want ot do only core activites, you willget alotof gap which most companies doesn't prefer. You should seee you will not get much gap btweenjobs.
You can search a corporate sector and enter in recuitments, whenever htere is requirement you will come toknow that htere is requirement of yourinterest , at that time apporach your manager and tell him that you are i nterested in that position.
