Dear Seniors, For a reputed school in Tamilnadu we need teaching faculty. As of now, I am getting candidates by Facebook ads, employee referrals. We need 50 teaching faculties for the forthcoming academic year. With the current recruitment strategy, I am afraid that it is not possible to achieve the targets,

Please suggest, what is the best way to recruit teachers?

Dear Colleague

Best option and to go quickly is to give advertisement in Tamil dailies for a Walk-In at week end say for 2 days which you can do it for one month ie., 4 week ends. You may take it as a drive and publish this information to all BEd Colleges around your place.

For a size of 50 this is the most cost effective way. You can constitute panels for screening and place screening mechanism and you can go with subject wise on each date so that you can avoid crowding. There should be registration / live class taking session/ personal interview/ certificate verification / and other process as you feel. All selected may be issued offer on a particular day after getting Management Approvals.

Hi Sudha,

I strongly recommend running the employee referral policy.

Advantages of running the referral policy are
1. Chances of getting relevant CVs are very high as they will come through the same profile employees in your case teachers.
2. Applicant will be well versed with the job profiles(JD) which you are looking.
3. This will drastically reduce the ToT of hiring.
4.

I have mammoth experience of hiring teachers almost in all the states. Please feel free to connect with me for any queries.

Happy to help.
