I have been a recruiter for 5 years now. Being a recruiter is a great feeling. I wanted to capture in this thread the challenges faced by various recruiters in hiring the right talent for the right job?
I will start with mine-
1. Though our country is plenty of Talent, the skilled resources are still a scarcity. Filtering 2 candidates for a job from the candidate database of 1000 is a great challenge.
2.You freeze on a candidate for interview, you schedule an interview, many a times candidates do not turn up for the interviews and they call you and give all possible reasons....
I leave the rest to be added by my co-members of CiteHR, i know you carry more experience and knowledge than what i do.
Thanks,

Here are few :
- First of all, it is difficult to match the job description with the bunch if resumes.
- Recruirer faces problems in finding out the right candidate due to various organisational diffrences, cultural diffrences and attitudes.
- The main challange for he recruiter is, he/she should be able to relate the job descriotion to the resume of the candidates. This is time consuming and complex.
- If you are sourcing from internet, you will get thousands of resume for a single position. To reduce the wastage of your time, you can use the various search strings to find out the specific resume.

Please find the attachment on Internet Sourcing. Hope it is of some use.
