Hi,
In our company all the employees moved out of ESI wef this month and we are not contributing ESI and we dont have any plan to hire new employees since we decided to transfer all the employees to the sister concern. I would like to know whether we need to inform this to ESI office? If so pls guide me on this.

Hi,
If you are moving you employee to sister concern you have to Inform ESI office, because your sister concern will have seperate establishment code, PF and ESI code.
So it is necessary to inform ESI office

Hi Buddy,
If your employees are transferred to your sister concern than ask your sister concern to register them under their ESI establishment code that is enough and your sister concern can contribute to ESI without any problem.

Sir, you have not intimated whether your present company has been closed permanently ? If so, you may inform ESIC accordingly. Otherwise, if there is no coverable employee at present, you can ensure to submit a NIL return at the end of each and every contribution period so that your case may not fall under defaulter category.

Hi,
we have to pay for the period up March'16. on the current wages and the benefits also will be available to the employees till Sep'16. then their is no need to inform in such cases and their no such clause to Middle drop of IP's in this cycle . Until he/She left from the Job/Duties from the employer. Other Wise if you drop now with paying ESI from the currents earnings will be Non-Compliance.
regards.
Venkat.
