Our current science & technology has not reached upto Addhyatma (Spiritual Evolution). It couldn't explain everything which exists in this world weather seen or unseen. THere is a scientist(GOD) who created everything including us. Whatever we know could be incorrect cause everything that is the basis of our science is an assumption. Considering these assumption we never could explain these mysteries. We donn't have words or expressions even to term these mysteries. so we say them "GHOSTS" ... yeah i agree that they exists ... infact they co-exists with us .. but its quite possible that we are also stranger to them .. we are also an unsolved mystery to them. Posting after a long time…………
One more incident from my hostel life…. Our campus was on the outskirts of the town and the place where basket ball court was we heard that it was a grave yard…adjacent to that court was our hostel.. The rooms were single and double occupancy … In one of the rooms my class mate use to live she had a regular problem of migraine… one night her neighbor came to our room almost banging our door and asked us to come and see her… she was lying on her floor almost unconscious I reached to her and gave her a lilt water.. She holds my hand very tightly and said slowly leave me u are hurting me… I didn’t understand at that point of time…. When I made her sit on bed what I saw was there were big long marks of nails on her back... She said it is happening to her once in a month and this time it was too painful
We suggested her to move back to her home when she came back she told that this was all because of a spirit was following her and she saw that spirit about two months ago when she was at her home and she didn’t mentioned that at her home …. Resulting to which that spirit thought she is afraid of her and started harassing her…
She got rid of her by means of some Puja done by some Tantrik at her house…
What all I can say is that it is sometimes really painful for a person to go through from all these things…………..

this phenomenan of following can be explained.
Once i was going to my aunt's village. I was in uttranchal (full of mountains).
due to some reason (actually it is big story) i reached at dark in night. it was scary. I cann't see anything. It suddenly starts raining. I was clueless as i was not aware of the path. I just knew that i've to cross this hill to go to that village. It was horrible as whenever it was lightening .. my mind was drawing some furious images. I was seriously missing the Torch which i usually kept with me ... but not on that night. Even now i cann't forget that night. I travel almost for 2 hours. I saw snakes (as it was Jungle) ... everything ... Animal hiding in bushes , But not a ghost.
So after that i came to conclusion that they can follow only the person whome they can threaten. Its more like an animal, who would attack only if he senses the danger or he is hungry or u r challenging him.
So my advice is to have confidence in your self as we "HUman" are the strongest creature in the world and "YES" the GOD has made us like this.

If they start liking you = they will follow
If they are called and harresed = they deny to leave and they follow
if you are related to their death somehow = they will follow...

You are discussing the topic which is not related to basic principles of web site. However it is interesting. It is a matter of belief and debate whether God exist or not. In every religion there is a theory of birth and rebirth. But no one knows what exactly happen after death. I had caome across on book few years back in which this topic was discussed. some of the photographs incorporated in that book clearly shows the images of human being although they were dead. The author has strong belief that there is a life after death. The Hindu philosophy also says that there is rebirth till 'Moksha'. It is also a belief that if human being dies with some desire he tries to fullfil by taking rebirth.
As far as 'Ghost' is concern, I have a belief that it do exixt and this 'invisible soul' some times troublesome to human being. The person who has strong spiritual backgroung and support are not affected by this. Normally ghost are powerfu on full moon day or no moon day. I have experienced of this.
I have also witnessed the people who have been haunted by the ghost in the temple of Lord Dattatraya at Gangapur, Dist Gulbarga Karnataka State. A boy aged 9-10 year old behaving and talking abnormally and confessed that he was haunted by a soul of a man who died in Aurthor Road jail some where in 1950's. The women were also behaving abnormally in the temple.
Normally, the person having poor spiritual protection and power are porn to the ghost. Person having high level of spiritual power can experience place where it is haunted. Generally, old forts, palaces, cemetry and places where unnatural death have occured are the places where ghost lives. One place near Ujjain unkown as Kalbhairav appears to like this. Even during day time also one experience 'fear' of the place.
The subject is vast to talk and cannot be shared in short duration. But one can share experiences on this blog.

Hi everyone... after a long tym....
I guess this topic is getting more interesting day by day...lemme add some more...
My mom is a keralite & so i used to spend all my summer vacations in my mom's home town...there is a haunted house near to her home...if you happened to see that home @ night.. i bet you will faint defy!!!...
As Pank said, once you cross tht house after 12am(sumtimes during the afternoon time too(1'0 clock)) defy u can expect a ghost following you to your home.....
At the gate of this house you can see a beautiful rose plant blossoming for all the seasons...but no one waters that plant & no one dare to pluck it.....@ night times you can smell its fragrance all over that place...but it doesnt create happiness in you rather it creates only fear inside you.......
Everyone has differenent stories for that house...actually i have some pictures of that house...but currently am using my lappie or i would have posted it here....
Once myself & my cousins dared to spend one complete nite near that house(but not inside...belive me am not a hero in this story)....so we are completely boozing(but all are in conscious for the whole nite) & were cracking jokes for all that nite & we faced nothing as we are nearly 5 people at thta time....but after dat all of my cousins are experinceing some unnatural happenings....some say they could smell the fragrance of rose when they are alone....& sum say they could hear a small boy screaming during nite times...not continously but sometimes...
but till now i havent faced anything like dat..i guess dat ghost must have hated me...any how am escaped...
forgot to tell you one thing...am not sure whether you could smell the fragrance of rose when it was raining...but we could smell it on that rainy nite...
Next time i will post one of the story dat my neighbor narrated about dat house...
