Dear Seniors,

Please clear my doubts.
1. If any employee joined and his/her Basic Salary finalize more than 15000 then what type of form has to be filled by employee to excluded in EPF/EPS and does not effect in Statutory Compliance.
2. If any new employee joined and his/her Basic Salary finalize more than 15000 then is it possible that if we did not deduct EPF/EPS fund from his salary however he/she has UAN number from very old company.

At the time of joining, you have to collect form 11 from the employee. If in the form 11 he declares that he was earlier a ,member of EPF, and he has a UAN then whatever be his basic salary, he should be covered by EPF in your organisation. At the same time, if he does not have a UAN, then you can exclude him if his salary exceeds Rs 15000. Whether he had a UAN or not is to be evidenced by form 11. Please find the attachment.
