Hi Ashwini,

I generalized and assuming you as an amateur I wrote these points.

1) What topic you are going to speak

2) Who are audience

3) What is their age group and profession

4) Collect proper information about the topic

5) Discuss about that topic with persons who has knowledge on that topic, if you know any one. Or with your friends/parents whoever you feel comfortable.

6) Chalk out the points on the topic by categorizing what do you know, what do you don’t know.

7) Try to collect the information on the topic which you do not know.

8) Now suppose you have enough information collected.

9) Practice delivering it in front of mirror assuming audience are in front of you

10) After the very previous point, If possible deliver it in front of friends/parents whoever is very co-operative. And ask them to act like a audience.

11) Now real presentation is over real presentation has come.

12) Take deep breath around 10 times.

13) Get into presentation stage look at any dark light (bulb or sharp sun ray), now your eyes are blur you can’t see your audience start speaking.

14) Once you start it will lead you to end

15) Now if it is worth while, just one thanks for me.

It works out if it is public speaking not for presentation. That too not in companies. As you have not clearly mentioned about need, I could give this mush.

It is very very basic........
