There is no difference in allotting PF account number to MNC. Once youare covered, you will get an establishment code number from the EPF. The employees' account number will be allotted serially after the establishment code number. Therefore, a members PF number will contain three parts, first the area code (like KR for all establishments in Kerala), area sub code (like KNR for sub regional office of EPF in Kannur area) followed by establishment code and the member's account number.
