Hi Seniors, I am working for a company where I don't have any senior who can guide me to grow further in my stream.
So, can you please guide me about any magazines or sources from where I can get the HR updates timely?
Please provide me a suggestion if I should continue with such an organization where there was no HR earlier & the Boss also is not very much interested in implementing it completely.

Hi...
If u have done MBA-HR, you can refer to your course books, and implement the all the theoretical knowledge of what all you have gained. Though company doesn't have the proper company rules but still organizations work on certain basic principles, try to know that. Try to bring the system, work on administrative part, also see to that on what rules the company works, make the employee handbook, make the leave rules, try to interact with boss explain the benefit of system based organization.
Again leaving is no solution, if you have got an opportunity try to utilize the best. If there are no system you will be the one to make it, you will learn that would be an exceptional experience.
You can refer to Human Capital, follow the HR based sites etc.

Hi Punam,
Don't you think it is a golden chance to showcase your capabilities, as there was no HR department initiate systems, policies, procedures which can be implemented wisely in the company.
Interest of seniors can be developed with your work, present your work in a manner that they would have no choice except to implement or supporting the implementation part.
We all are here for timely guidance as and when you require that,so bounce back and grab this opportunity to learn while you work.
Also,if you can provide some details about company, products/services they deal in, is it a family run organisation? what all have you worked on so far, is this your first job?
Answers to all these will help us to support you better.

Hi

Thanks for your feedback,

Please find the elaboration on Recruitment

RECRUITMENT

We receive the requirement from the required department first. It is issued by the dept head to HR dept. And a requisition form is made out that can comprise of the following tabs

1. Position:

2. Reporting to:

3. Department:

4. Experience Level:

5. Qualification :

6. Job Description:

7. Signature of the Department:

8. Approved By:

Before going to recruit from the other sources we have to check whether we can give promotions to internal employees or we can get any referrals from the employees to motivate them. That would be cost effective. we say it as job enlargement and it is cost effective, instead of appointing another one we can give the responsibilities because he knows all the procedures of that company.

Interview Evaluation Process

Evaluation of candidates can be based upon three things ASK( attitude, skills & knowledge)

Selection Process

• Applying Selection Methods

• Short listing the candidates for final interview

• Final interview – Explain the company benefits, salary negotiation, career planning
