Dear all,

Please advise me to come out of this situation. I worked in a good company around 2 years.Since i got good oppurtunity in an mnc, i resigned on April 09. .notice period was 3 months, i worked almost one and a half months, begging for getting Relieving order. despite my best efforts, they hesitated to give me the letter and their intention was to lapse my MNC offer.they asked me to service the entire notice period. eventhough am having 50 days Privileged leave in credit they refused to set off against notice period. Since the pressure was too high from my current employer, i forged the relieving order and submitted. Now, my previous company informed my current employer that, i was not properly relieved. They started putting pressure on my current employer for sending them the documents which i have forged and submitted. Openly i told my HR about the circumstances of doing fake submission. I was in depression now. dont know what to do? whether my current employer will throw me out or not, i dont know.I begged several times for getting the relieving order but got humiliation as the result
Can you please tell, if my previous company got the forged document, what action they will take? am totally tensed. please advise

Dear Dhanya,
Forging any document is a serious error. I am sure some legal experts will respond to your message. In the meantime please consult a lawyer.

Dear Dhanya,
I do not know the policy of your company on outcome of background verification but there is a possibility that misrepresentation of facts on employment & education may be a subject of 'ZERO TOLERANCE'. Your case goes a stage beyond misrepresentation of facts. Here the documents have been forged. I am not sure if you had the option of paying for not serving full notice period. Had it been there, you could have used it. To be honest, I don't see an easy solution for you in this case unless or until your current organization does not have strong policies on this subject

Dear Buddy,
You have done a serious mistake. You must have cleared your situation before your joining. Now as an employer they have all the powers to take any kind of action against you including the legal ones.
Please speak to someone senior in HR and explain your situation now. Clearly.
Don't be late now....as your last employer can use it in more distructive manner.
