Dear Vamn,

Hence you question is quite out of track. But if a person is interviewed by the organisation and he got selected for particular function in the said organisation. He is also ready to join the organisation. For getting new opportunity in new organisation, first he'll have to resign / releive from him previous / existing organisation. If an offer letter is not being issued to him/her, how he/she'll assume that he got an opportunities to join the other organisation? On what basis he/she'll put his/her paper in his existing organisation? Will you be able to construe the new enterent to join the organisation without any written information?

Suppose, you'll be able to construe the new enterent to join the organisation without any letter or he/she'll be trusted your words of mouth to join the organisation on so and so date by putting his/her paper in his / her existing organisation. Tomorrow he/she'll come to join your organisation by putting his/her paper in his / her existing organisation and may be you or your colleague doesn't stand your words of mouth. Then what????

All to gather, we can say, an offer letter is an invitation for new enterent for joining the new company/organisation.

tnx
