Dear Shankar,
I need confirmation regarding the breakdown of P.F. contributions. The mentioned administrative charges of 0.65% (actual rate is 1.1%) - is this detail provided as per the regulations in Andhra Pradesh? Do administrative charges vary from state to state? Kindly confirm this. Other than that, the information is helpful.
Best Regards,
Hemanth.

Dear Members,
Leaving aside ESI & PF Acts, please go through the State Rules to determine if the appropriate government for your unit is the State Government. Adhere to the formats specified in your State Government Rules for maintaining records. Additionally, review the formats required for returns under the respective rules and ensure they are sent on time to the relevant authorities for the proper enforcement of various Labour Laws.
This information is provided for the members' awareness. If I am mistaken, kindly guide me to enhance my knowledge and oblige me.

Hi Shankar Ravi,
I am working in the manufacturing industry. Please advise me on the following:
1. Leaves Encashable: Is there a provision for leaves to be encashed as per the Factories Act?
2. Holidays: What is the minimum number of gazetted holidays required as per the Factories Act?
3. Apart from EL/PL, are there any other types of leave such as Casual, Sick leave, etc.?
4. In the corporate office, I have established leave and holiday policies including EL/Casual, Maternity, Paternity, birthday/anniversary leaves, and 15 gazetted holidays for a healthy and employee-oriented company. Is it necessary to have the same leave and holiday policies in the factory as well?
Please guide me as I am in urgent need of assistance.
Thanks and regards,

There are so many mistakes in this checklist, do consult a book for reference. Common mistakes are - It's the Minimum Wages Act of 1948, not 1928. In the Bonus Act of 1965, Form A is for the computation of allocable surplus, not consumption of allocable surplus. Administrative charges given in PF in account number 2 are wrong; it's 1.10%, and many more mistakes... so be aware of what you are watching.
