Hi, my name is Bablu, and I work in a small DSA. I have been in this job for 6 months. I sent my resignation email on the 13th, and I am still in the 30-day notice period. I have received a PIP email, and they are asking me to address it immediately. For the last 5 months, no one maintained attendance records, but as soon as I submitted my resignation, they imposed a deduction for my late arrivals. This means that if I arrive at the office at 10, I will not receive my pay for that day. However, I have not signed any such policy. Still, the company representatives are telling me that this is the policy. In December, I still have 1 absentee day, and they have recorded my attendance as only 14 days.

You have stated that you are working in a DSA. Is it a Direct Selling Agency? Using organization-specific acronyms without explaining them leaves us all in the dark about what they mean. For any direct sales job, attendance has no significance or implication. It looks like this was an afterthought developed to deal with your resignation, or maybe it was in the company policy but never implemented.
Understand that your concurrence or signature is not needed on every policy, particularly if it was a policy already in existence when you joined. There may also be a general term in your appointment that you will be bound by the rules and regulations of the firm issued from time to time. Please check it.
Now that you have resigned, it is better to part in a peaceful manner. Try to make a compromise with the situation. If nothing comes out of your efforts, brief us more on the situation.
