Hello members, I'm asking for a resolution about my situation. The situation is that I had joined a firm 1 month ago with the acceptance of an appointment letter attached to the offer letter. After the onboarding process, my training and orientation started, but there was nothing in the working training method as per my thinking. They said I had to be self-motivated, so I did it with self-motivation and with a little help from colleagues.
After 1 month, suddenly my supervisor/manager called me along with my coworkers, and after some discussion that resulted in arguments, he said to terminate me but was asking for a resignation from my side, which I wasn't ready for. He tried to threaten me via HR personnel to comply with resignation. The firm has paid my joining month's salary into my personal savings account as they asked to submit details of my bank statement. However, it has been one week since my termination with immediate effect, but they haven't paid my pending dues for 8 days and haven't provided a termination letter/mail. What should I do? Would a termination letter from them really matter for me in this situation?

Hi,
What was your role/salary in the company? What was the reason for arguments during the group discussion, and is it related to any disciplinary issues on your end?
Keeping legal options aside, considering your short stint with the company, I sincerely suggest you submit a resignation letter and get properly relieved. Before submitting your resignation, just ensure that they will relieve you properly. I hope you haven't signed any Training Agreement or submitted security cheques, etc. There is no point in fighting with the employer when they decide not to accommodate you any further.
I am not sure why you are keen on a termination letter - for compensation from the employer or for further legal proceedings? Considering your short association, it wouldn't be advisable to get into legal proceedings. So, resolve it amicably and look for another offer. Wish you all the best!

Dear Vmlakshminarayanan,
Thank you for your reply. I'm requesting them only to pay my pending outstanding dues. Even I'm not asking them to compensate the notice period of 1 week, which they included in the separation clause of termination during probation in the appointment agreement. I didn't sign any agreement but gave my acceptance over email only. They have submitted scanned copies of my documents such as educational certificates, Aadhaar card, PAN card, personal savings account, etc., with the joining form filled and signed by me.
I think they didn't even complete my joining formalities in this whole scenario.
