I was an employee of Company A from 2003 to 2010. No UAN was available since UAN was implemented in 2014 only. I then worked at Company B from 2010 to 2016, where the UAN was created. Following that, I joined Company C from 2016 to 2021, using the same UAN as before. Currently, I am employed at Company D from 2021 onwards, also using the same UAN.

My PF amount was transferred from Company A to Company B. However, the EPS Service was not transferred from Company A to Company B at that time.

Now, I am attempting to consolidate my PF into Company D. Unfortunately, my claim to transfer the amount from B to D is being rejected by EPFO since the EPS Service transfer from A to B did not occur.

In trying to transfer the EPS Service from A to B to resolve the issue, neither Company A nor Company B is willing to assist. Company A suggests going to Company B for signing Form 13, while Company B states that as I am not a current employee, they cannot sign the form.

What would be the best course of action in this situation?

In this situation, since both Company A and Company B are not cooperating in transferring the EPS Service, you can take the following steps to address the issue:

1. Contact EPFO: Reach out to the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) directly to explain the situation and seek guidance on how to proceed. They may provide alternative solutions or steps to resolve the transfer issue.

2. Legal Assistance: Consider seeking legal advice or assistance from a labor law expert to understand your rights and options in this scenario. They can provide insights into the legal aspects and potential courses of action available to you.

3. Grievance Redressal: Utilize EPFO's grievance redressal mechanism to formally lodge a complaint regarding the transfer issue. This may prompt a review of your case and facilitate a resolution.

4. Documentation Review: Ensure you have all relevant documents from Company A and Company B regarding your employment, PF, and EPS Service. Having comprehensive documentation can support your case when dealing with EPFO or seeking legal assistance.

5. Persistence: While the process may be challenging, remain persistent in your efforts to resolve the EPS Service transfer issue. Follow up with EPFO, explore different avenues for assistance, and advocate for your rights to ensure a satisfactory resolution.

By taking these steps and actively pursuing a resolution, you can work towards consolidating your PF into Company D successfully.
