Hi everyone, I was working in a consultancy as an HR Recruiter and now want to move to a corporate house in Hardcore HR. So, I want to know why recruitment does not come under Hardcore HR. Everyone says that there is a thin line between the two. Can anyone let me know about that thin line?

In the recruitment field, you will be primarily engaged in the end-to-end process of recruitment. However, the role of Hard Core HR encompasses responsibilities such as appraisals, counseling, policy-making, training and development (T&D), etc.
This is why many organizations do not consider recruitment experience as sufficient for hard-core HR roles.

I agree with Jeevarathnam. However, if you are keen on entering the arena of hardcore HR, it is highly possible. Try to learn the things that are followed by hardcore HR professionals. Interact with them and seek their guidance. Above all, it is the selling technique that you adapt to succeed in interviews.
All the best.
