Can anyone help me by sharing the maternity leave policies and explaining the payment mode when female employees are on maternity leave? What is the law regarding this, and how do companies typically handle payment during maternity leave?

Thanks & Regards

Dear Pon, It seems that you have written three weeks in place of six weeks. R.N.Khola

Are there any statutory guidelines as to whether the pre/post-delivery 6-week period can be availed by an eligible employee in parts, i.e., availing maternity leave for a few days for consulting a doctor and then joining duty and so on?
