I am working in a private school as pgt. mgmt is not willing to give LTA for probation. Is there any legal clause having provision to get LTA in probation period?

To avail LTA (Tax-Free), you have to take a minimum of 3 PL/EL, for which you are eligible only after 240 physical days presentee in an organization (as per S&E Act and Factories Act). Therefore, most companies pay LTA (Tax-Free) only after completion of 1 year of service and/or after confirmation.

Dear,
There is no legal provision to get LTA in the probation period. It is up to the school management to allow or not to allow LTA. If the management has any rules or policy to grant LTA or if this is the terms of appointment, then they are liable to give LTA to their employees.
