I see Shops act 1948 for Gujarat has 21 days leave per annum and carryforward of 42 days but there is no metion of casual and or medical leave (as there isin karnataka, delhi Andhra etc)
Cann anyone enlighten whether casual and medical/sick leave is mandatory in Gujharat and if so how many days a year and on what authirity/ notification etc

dear
as per act only 21 paid leave is allowed ,so law does not say for any casual/sick leave.so if you want you can give as per your choice in your leave policy but no boundation as such.
