Hi These days, generally interviewer ask that can you work late in office so what i need to answer the question.

Hi, You can say yes provided you are reimbursed for it according to the company laws and it is only once in a while and not a regular habit. Mukta

I agree with you but sometimes interviewer also give their example that they also works upto 10pm in 3-4 days in a week. What should be the right reply? Kindly advise.

do tell them i got a family and it liked to c me at the end of the day. It adds richness to my life and feel energize nxt wen i cme to wrk. Howevr i can handle heavy wrk load at home where i will be under the same roof as family.

now that the recession habbit is continued forever - less pay - more working hours - in addition to which we are tied up in a bond,strange an unusual working rules, notice period, so many things which we cannot even explain to others nor try to convince ourselves, employees are just not in a situation to do anything and me being a 22 yr old girl,experienced in various work specific things, i dono where m landing,my future is at toss is what i feel n pitty myself

No yar we cannot tell that way, there are so many other things which we will have to worry about if spoken anything against their rules and policies

The way you think is simply brilliant and in my suggestion one must mind it always. Its obvious true that at the professional floor you have to be aware while the answers may vary from HR to Hr.

Being a HR I personally feel this creates always a homesickness if you ever indulge your family in such answers, so never give such weak answers.

YOu should simply say what suits you, if you are comfortable sitting late which many people are habitual now, you say yes, if not then tell them you can do this once in a while if the work load is heavy,but not regulary.
Make uit clear, certain jobs require late sittings and certain don't , find out what is the exact reason./
