Go early to bed and automatically you will wake up in the morning. This will never happen suddenly. You will have to practice. One thing you must know , if you follow anything and pracice for one week , that would automatically becomes a habit. Confidence is nothing but planning and practising. so try to do the same thing for atleast one week. u will feel the difference.

What you have to do is to go to sleep early that ,my case 10 pm is early .
And when you are woke up in the morning by alarm,Simply dont think about the reasons you should sleep more.
Because if you think about any reason to sleep more you will find one and you will sleep more.Spring from bed ,wash your mouth with water or any other activity that makes you active.
It works for me, hope it works for you also.

Dear Amit,
Its simple sleeping tech & programming.
Before you sleep you instruct /program your brain to wake you up at 5.00 am or so.
You see the outcome! You will wake up at exactly at 5.00 am & will not get sleep.
Good day!

I have a struggle in waking up early, as well. Why I need to be up by 3.30am to prepare and reach office by 7.30am. My travel time consumes nearly 3 hours to work and another 3 hours from work to home. I lived more than 50 kilometers away from home. So I have a total of 6 hours travel time in 24 hours during weekdays.
Thanks for the advises though.

Dear Amit,

Eat less at Dinner time. Hope you dont have the habit of sleeping late / watching TV just before.

Start with a Sunday. The previous saturday - sleep early (say at 9:45 or 10:00 pm). Make usre you have dinner between 7:00 and 7:30 pm.

Sunday morning - keep alarm at 6:00 Am (or ask someone to wake u up if in case you dont respond to the alarm. Get up and go for a walk (maybe for 2 kms on the first day).... You will find the rest of the day going great. And continue this on monday - tues... like that slowly increase your walking time and distance too.

Let me tell you - I am girl who loves to sleep early- I am dead asleep by 9:30 PM (so you see I reach by bed at 9:00 PM). I have dinner between 7 and 7:30 in the evening. I dont watch TV 30 mins before sleep. I had the same problem - dificulty in waking up. I used to wak up at 8:00 and rush to do my morning chores abnd be at work by 9:00 ..or 9:10.

Now I started walking everday. After the first / second day - now I automatically get up and crave to go walking. Reach home by 7:30 am after walk. Watch news, read the paper. By 8:00 - I start my other chores - but still find it relaxing and able to reach work on time.

If a girl like Asha, who in her entire life until last week - had never opted to exercise or walk... says that walking is a great experience after trying it, I am sure its worth a try for you.

Dear Memebers who felt this was a silly question:

Honey this is where HR issues begin - late coming! (people post there seperately to punish ppl coming late)

be proactive and advise people how to come early :-)
