Hi All,
I have signed the training bond of 2 Lakhs in an MNC. As per the training bond in the very first line: "on joining the organization, you will undergo mandatory training that will ensure the development of the required competency to do the assigned work on completion of this training" (which is NOT on stamp paper). However, they did not provide any training, and I have been billable after a month. Now that I have resigned, they are asking for the training bond.
My HR says "on-the-job training" is part of the training, so I have to pay 1.5 Lakhs. My bond will expire within two months. Please let me know if this is legal and what options I have. I have requested them to prorate the bond amount, and I am serving the two months' notice period as well.
Please do the needful.
