Dear All,
Can anybody please help me out to arrange Training and Development Programmes for the employees? As an HR professional, I want to start training and development for the 30 employees. Please let me know the ways of arranging training programmes. I would also like to send the employees for seminars happening in Bangalore. Is there a website for updates on this?

Dear Ramesh,
In my opinion, the first step you should take is to initiate an in-house training program in your company. To do this, you need to identify the training needs of your employees, both in terms of behavioral and technical skills. You may also consider external training programs for this purpose.
It is important to determine the level at which the training will be provided. Are you planning to include training for workers as well?

Dear Dinesh,
I have gone through the training, management, and behavioral training e-brochure; it seems to be very interesting. I am certainly in touch with you for arranging in-house training for my employees. I would like to know the cost of the training program for 30 employees. Can you please email me the details to my personal email ID rameshnaidu54@gmail.com?
I am not able to open your article which is published in the daily newspapers The Hindi and Deccan Herald. Can you please email me the article to my personal ID?

Thank you very much for all the responses I am getting from you. Please update me if any Open House training programs are happening all over India, so that I can arrange for my company employees to attend.

Dear Ramesh,
I do not know what your training needs are, but I recommend not putting employees through training unless there is a business need that requires it, for example, compliance training. If there is no business need, don't waste your time or your money.
Before implementing any training program, I have a few recommendations (which you may have already done but was not evident in your communication):
1. Identify the business need - is it in alignment with the strategic plan of the organization?
2. Conduct a needs analysis to identify the competencies and skills for each position.
3. Do a gap analysis to identify the gap between current knowledge and skills and desired knowledge and skills.
4. Define the objectives and identify how results will be measured against those objectives.
5. Design and implement training to address the identified gap - make sure the training is learner-led (learning is facilitated through highly interactive activities relevant to their responsibilities).
Once you have a clear picture of exactly what you need and why you need it, then either design in-house or seek an outside vendor.
Good luck!

Dear Ramesh,
I see a good deal of suggestions offered already. Please feel welcome to brainstorm further if required. I am working as a life and executive coach but can make strong recommendations once I understand your training requirements - unless your problem is already solved.
