Hi all,

I am currently pursuing a Master's in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. As part of the course, I am required to do a dissertation on the "Latest Trends in Training and Development." I have not chosen any specific industry and am interested in identifying unique practices in various organizations.

I kindly request you to share any such practices and processes in detail, along with mentioning the industry involved.

I look forward to learning from your inputs.

Warm Regards,
Pooja Grover

Industry: Manufacturing segment.

The current challenge in a traditional manufacturing setup is to have eLearning accepted at each desk. People still believe eLearning (and Training) is a one-time activity and this will be taken if they have nothing else to do. Hence, elements like educational gaming help them get engaged in the learning process and see the results. Then they appreciate it much more. The need for gaming in learning came up because of such challenges.
