Hi all,

I am working for a manpower placement consultancy. Can anyone let me know the process and format on how to raise the bill to my client for the placement I have done? Please send me a sample one which includes the 12.5% service tax on where and how this should be implemented in the bill.

Dear Vijaymalya,

Once a person joins through you and you know their gross salary, you can raise your invoice; but before that, you should have a contract with the company in terms of terms and conditions. I am attaching a format you can use, but after modifying some points.

Hope this will help you.

Hi All,

Thanks for the nice info here. I'd like to know some more information on this:

- What is the usual charge applied for a technical (s/w) guy?
- Does this charge depend on the experience of the candidate or does it depend on that particular requirement?
- For a given company, will this charge depend on the designation offered or on the experience of the candidate?
- Is the billing done on the monthly gross salary or the yearly CTC?

Thanks in advance...
