I was into recruitments earlier, and in an interview, I was asked, "the company is not the best paymaster, not a brand, and can't even give a better position than what others are given. So how will you convince the candidate to join your company?

Hi Pinkii,
In this case, you need to consider the company's strengths and opportunities while also taking care of the particular applicants' interests. There must be something good in the organization that you can leverage and align with the individual's interests.
During the interview, I was asked to convince a candidate to join an organization that is on par with their current one in terms of salary, facilities, allowances, benefits, and designation. My response to the question was to offer more challenging roles, job enrichment, greater authority and autonomy, along with some flexibility. I also emphasized that the organization is high-performing, which will support better career growth, learning, and development in the near future.
What do you think?
