Case 1: If a manufacturing company's production is very low due to some maintenance issues and they want to meet their weekly sales target, they have decided to work on a holiday, such as any holiday or Sunday. Does HR need to submit a letter to the Inspector of Factories?

Case 2: If it is required to submit the letter to the Inspector of Factories, but they didn't submit it, what legal problems might the company face in the future from the authorities?

Salespeople are field staff and they will not come under the purview of the Factories Act. Therefore, they can work according to their choice. Overtime work is not applicable to them, unlike workers employed within the boundaries of the factory. Therefore, inspectors of factories will not raise any objection.
