Please guide,is their any Holiday policy for National holidays falling on Sunday?Is it adjusted with some other Festival Leave or Paid Leave or not necessary to adjust by the company?

If a national holiday falls on your weekly off, you need not compensate it with any other festival holiday or leave. This is because the national holidays are fixed with a date as specifically mentioned in the Act irrespective of on which day it falls.

You need not give any substitute holiday in lieu of a National holiday falling on Sunday.

Please guide me. I have received a notice from the EPF department about EPF calculation. Previously, I was calculating EPF as Basic*employer Contribution + Employees' contribution. Now, the EPF Inspector was saying to me that I need to consider Basic + special conveyance + special allowance + education allowance in the calculation. Then, after totaling these amounts, I have to calculate as per the instructions of the inspector. I am having difficulty understanding this. Can you please explain how to perform the proper calculation?
