I met with an accident a few months back. Though it is not my fault, the other party filed a case against me. He and his wife had some minor injuries.
Now, I have an FIR against me. Very soon, I am expecting an employment offer from a US-based company. Will this case affect my background verification and have an impact on my future job changes? Please advise.

No, it won't. In background/reference checks, companies generally verify your last held position, salary, work profile, and character. However, a company can inquire if there are any pending legal cases against you, and you must answer this question, nothing else.
