PF and ESI Compliance for Proprietorship Firms
A proprietorship firm that undertakes facility management contracts and provides manpower often faces inquiries from prospective clients regarding PF and ESI compliance during vendor registration. Please advise on the step-by-step procedure for opening PF and ESI accounts.
Compliance Requirements and Obligations
What are the compliance requirements and obligations for maintaining PF and ESI accounts? Additionally, what is the overall liability concerning PF/ESI for a proprietary firm?
Tools and Resources
Any worksheets to calculate leave, salary, PF, ESI, etc., would be a great help.
Many Thanks,

PF & ESIC Compliance for Service Providers
PF & ESIC are mandatory. Whichever company you provide services for, they will ask for this compliance. First, you need to get PF & ESIC registration. You need to contribute employees' and employers' contributions every month to this account. It is your responsibility to pay the contributions without fail, and similarly, you can charge your clients if you are providing manpower/services.
You need to maintain a Muster roll and wage register as per the respective states. You may call me for any assistance if required.
