Dear All, Hope you are doing great !!
Can anyone help me with below query:
1) Is it mandatory to pay ESIC & PF if company is register under Partnership firm also for Proprietorship company, is it mandatory to pay?
2) If a company was registered under Partnership but did not pay PF,ESIC when it was running and now it is closed then can owner of that company can get get notice from ESIC office to pay ESIC?
3) Company was closed & same name is registered under Proprietorship then do company need to pay PF & ESIC for previously closed firm from 2015 to 2017.

Yes, it’s mandatory pay all due challan. If you are delay payment then increase interest & Damages. You get inspection notice, 7a, 7q & 7b from department.

First check whether your Establishment comes under the purview of relevant Acts during the time it was operational.Your belief that Labour Laws are not applicable to Proprietorship/Partnership Firms is not correct
