Dear all,

If an employee has two UAN numbers and transfers both UAN numbers to the current UAN, and the employee wants to withdraw the advance from the last two UANs, what is the process to withdraw the advance amount in the transferred UAN number? Does the employee need to go to the previous employer to withdraw the amount?

After three months of resigning from a job and wanting final settlement, does the employee need to approach all previous employers to withdraw the full amount for less than 10 years?

Please suggest.

Thanks,
Rajender

Dear Rajender,

Now there is no need to go to your previous or current employer for the withdrawal of EPF or to take advance amount. All the processes are now online, and an employee can withdraw or take advance PF by logging into his UAN. The only important thing is that the employee must have updated KYC in his employer record.

Now, employees can simply log in to their UAN and access online services for the withdrawal or advance of EPF.
