I am working in a three-shift rotation. The shift timings are 8 am to 4 pm, 4 pm to 12 midnight, and 12 midnight to 8 am. Sometimes I have to work for 24 hours a day if my reliever does not turn up on duty.
Request you to kindly provide me with information about the maximum working hours per day as per Indian labor law. If I work for 24 hours in a day, please specify whether I am eligible for dues from the employer/insurance company if any mishap happens.

Hi, my name is Rajesh, and I am a Senior Executive in the HR department of a textile company. I am facing a problem where we have three shifts operating on my side. I would like to inquire if it is possible to have an employee work continuously for one month without changing shifts. Your assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & regards,
Rajesh
